We install a slim uPVC frame around your existing window to which we attach acrylic panels with magnets. We utilize your existing glass window as layer one in your double glazing and then our acrylic glazing as layer two. With this method we are able to create the largest airgap in the market, making our product superior in the noise reduction performance.
The glazing is only one of the factors influencing how much sound a window can block. Most importantly is an airtight seal, which many windows in Singapore do not have since they are either sliding or only have a single locking point. Also, all material used for a window influence the performance, and hollow aluminium framing can let sound travel through. In addition, most double-glazing used in Singpaore is more suitable in blocking heat then sound as the airgap between the two sheets of glazing is too thin. For acoustic purposes an airgap larger than 20mm is needed. Magnetite addresses all these weak spots and offers the largest airgap in the market, that we will customize to your space and soundproofing requirements.
It is true that conventional double-glazing will not be effective for sliding windows and doors since the noise will travel through the airgaps that are typically present in these systems. The unique magnetic system of Magnetite allows for both an airtight seal and a sliding function, making it by far the most effective soundproofing solution for sliding.

Our cost depends almost entirely on the actual size of the window, and the system chosen. Therefore, we will need the measurements of your window/sliding door in order to give a cost estimate.
